Thank you for the opportunity to share with you my passion and belief that how we view food, our “Eating Psychology”, needs a reset.

Dieting since I was 15 years old, I lost and gained the same 20-50 pounds over and over again. As a Registered Nurse, I’ve studied the science of what to eat and why staying active is important.

But none of the dogma about food and exercise brought about the results I wanted.

Unfortunately, like too many of us, I developed all the wrong ideas. If I failed to eat or behave like a “good girl” according to someone else’s standards. I told myself I had no willpower, I lost my self-confidence, and lived with constant guilt and self criticism. I thought I was “broken” and a failure.

It’s time to cut through all that!

There Is More To Health And Vitality Than Food And Exercise

In fact, food and exercise are only half of the equation. Other pieces include:

  • eating under stress versus relaxation
  • the timing of our meals
  • whether we experience pleasure when we eat

More often than not, our challenges with eating habits, weight and health are connected to work, relationships with partners and family, or lack thereof.

How often do we make choices we know aren’t the best; then beat ourselves up?

Fighting and attacking our challenges with food is a dead end strategy. You can escape the vicious cycle of toxic nutritional self-sabotage and achieve your weight, image and other goals with nutrition for your body & soul.

Hands On Healthcare helped me manage a serious change in my body last year. It took the medical doctors 5 months to come up with a diagnosis. Rheumatoid arthritis inflammation was attacking different body organs.
